Training

The simple skills required to start building a stable network marketing business are not difficult to acquire. These skills are developed through regular training courses. Distributors are further encouraged to ‘self-learn’ using the wide range of books, videos and audiotapes that are available. Ultimately, however, much of what is learnt comes from the experience gained through simply doing it!!

One of the unique features of FLP’s business model is the level of support provided. The Company has a network of eleven regional business centres across the UK, providing training programmes, meeting facilities and office space. Training costs are nominal and programmes are structured so as to focus individuals on their immediate objectives as well as their long-term goals. Much of what we do is based upon developing Leadership and Team Building skills. Accreditation with the highly prestigious Investors In People (IIP) award, which was achieved in record time, was due, in the main, to the excellence of FLP’s training infrastructure and ongoing commitment to it’s people.

We have an expression in our business which is this; 'You're in business for yourself, but not by yourself' - it describes perfectly the fundamental difference between Network Marketing and most traditional businesses. Whilst you are your own boss, because of the unique reward structure, other people have a vested interest in helping your business grow: your success is their success!

In order to greatly reduce the administrative burden, the Company has computerised all transactions so that the minimum of accounting is necessary. This also enables them to provide management information to assist with business planning. FLP also makes extensive use of voicemail & internet communication to keep distributors abreast of developments in the business, as well as sharing new ideas.
